- Mike and Kerry have been married for 12 wonderful years! Colin and Ashlynn keep us on our toes with activities, constant jokes and entertainment. We were blessed to add Bethany, our eldest daughter, to our family a few years ago...she started out as the best babysitter EVER and quickly became part of the family. We enjoy out Air Force life and view every move as a new adventure full of travel and new friends! In that great adventure we've moved from Columbus, MS to Suffolk, VA to Waldorf, MD to Fairborn, OH to GERMANY to Burke, VA and now our lates move settles us in bright sunny Fairfield, CA!

BLIZZARD 2010 take 2
yes we are getting buried again....a possible 8-14 inches and 40-50 mph winds! INSANE!

Cabin Fever!
WOW! After a day off last Wednesday, then off from Friday through today (Wednesday) you start getting cabin fever and need to find some creative things to do inside!
We've tried to stay busy.....
(MON) Let's see...we've grown crystals, finished tons of laundry, put together a computer server, finished 9 digital scrapbook pages (so far), built a HUGE k'nex carnival, cleaned our rooms, trashed our rooms with toys and dress up clothes, had friends hike through the snow to play at our house, we've braved the snow to play at friends' houses, shoveled, shoveled, shoveled, built a snow fort, played legos, worked on Spanish assignments, read books, made cookies with Easy Bake
(TUES) getting out of the house (ok getting stuck trying to get out of our driveway, but we got out) but we got out for neighborhood milk, TP, etc run yesterday We took Colin to a friends house to play, did some more shoveling trying to find out street, delivered groceries, left Ash with the Dunne girls, got a little house cleaning done, sorted through and cleaned out photos, played Wii, made Chilli, and snow ice cream
(WED) well now that is is snowing again....blizzard strength winds and white out conditions, we've started Colin on some Egypt research (they should be starting their lessons on that in school this week), and Ash is practicing her writing.....we shall see what else gets done today.

2 1/2 feet of snow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
AND STILL SNOWING!
So far we still have power (even though the front of our neighborhood lost power for a few hours this morning) So the kids can still watch movies and play Wii, and I can wash/dry laundry, and take a hot shower :) Just need serious drugs for the back pain after shoveling 4 times and need to go out again.
Keep praying for us and all of those affected by this storm especially the elderly, homeless and the emergency responders and snow plow operators!
Keep watching the same snow album on facebook for all of the WHITE pics!

It is now 12:02 pm we've just shoveled the 3rd time technically and it is just INSANE we are being buried in snow!

Whittling Chip
Colin can "officially" use a knife now! RUN AWAY .... SAVE YOUR LIVES! :)
The scouts had their "whittle soap" night last night and had so much fun! Of course Colin chose to carve a spaceshuttle!

Well I finally remembered to go downstairs to get the Daisy pictures!
Even though Ashlynn has been a daisy scout for a few month now, her slacker leader (otherwise known as mom) finally had the official WELCOME to Daisies ceremony! She is such a cute scout!
