Mike and Kerry have been married for 12 wonderful years! Colin and Ashlynn keep us on our toes with activities, constant jokes and entertainment. We were blessed to add Bethany, our eldest daughter, to our family a few years ago...she started out as the best babysitter EVER and quickly became part of the family. We enjoy out Air Force life and view every move as a new adventure full of travel and new friends! In that great adventure we've moved from Columbus, MS to Suffolk, VA to Waldorf, MD to Fairborn, OH to GERMANY to Burke, VA and now our lates move settles us in bright sunny Fairfield, CA!

First Day on the bus!



Another tough day for mom....I put my babies on a big yellow bus in the hands of a stranger on VERY crowded streets!  I had a worry day again, but volunteered at Ashlynn's lunch again and she told me the bus was FUN and they had no problems!  Her teacher then put me in tears.....she said Colin walked her down to the class, walked her in, gave her a big hug and said "have a good day Princess, see you this afternoons!"  HOW SWEET!  Made me so proud....of course I told Mrs. Verwers not to let them fool her...tomorrow he will be kicking her off the bus :)
They made it back home full of fun stories of school and new friends!  Maybe mommy can finally have a productive, quiet, worry free day tomorrow.....ok probably not totally worry free I think I'm stuck with that for a lifetime of parenting!
